Renee DeWeese and Rena Wilson have been working with children and building arts programs throughout the Bay Area for over a decade. Together, they formed the Performing Academy, where today, students learn to act, sing, and dance in a professional and nurturing environment. Its goal is to provide a place for artistic and personal growth. Its programs are designed to enhance performance and life skills by instilling students with technique, discipline, and professionalism. In addition to getting students excited about theatre and igniting their love of performing, they are encouraged to see the value in becoming a lifelong theatre patron.
