It is important students are in the correct attire in order to create a positive, focused learning environment for everyone.
Ballet: 1st - 4th Positions
Option 1: Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled back into a bun.
Option 2: Black leggings or jazz pants, plain white t-shirt, jazz or ballet shoes
Creative Movement
Comfortable clothing students can move freely (i.e. leotards, tights, leggings, shorts). Shoes are not required, bare feet are acceptable. Ballet or jazz shoes are also acceptable. Long hair secured back. Skirts & tutus allowed.
Ballet/Tap Combo
Option 1: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, tap shoes. Hair pulled back into a bun, tutorial above. Optional skirt.
Option 2: athletic shorts or pants. Plain T-shirt. Jazz/ballet shoes and tap shoes.
Jazz/Contemporary
Comfortable form fitting clothes for dancing (i.e. shorts, leggings, leotard, shirt). Jazz shoes. No jeans or midriff tops. Long hair secured back.
Tap
Comfortable form fitting clothes for dancing (i.e. shorts, leggings, leotard, shirt). Tap shoes. No jeans or midriff tops. Long hair secured back.
Song & Dance/Musical Theatre Dance
Comfortable form fitting clothes for dancing (i.e. shorts, leggings, leotard, shirt). Jazz shoes. No jeans or midriff tops. Long hair secured back.
Ballet for Musical Theatre
Option 1: Leggings, form fitting work out top OR leotard, tights, skirt & ballet shoes. No jeans or midriff tops. Hair pulled up, bun tutorial above.
Option 2: Athletic shorts or jazz pants. Plain T-shirt. Jazz or ballet shoes
